Class Requirements 

Introductory Classes 

Our introductory classes are designed for students who are new to the discipline or are still in the early stages of learning. No prerequisites are necessary for these courses. The introductory classes cover fundamental aspects such as safety protocols, the basics of climbing and inverting, and the foundational movements that will enable you to progress.

Intro / L1 Classes

All students attending Introduction and Level 1 classes must have completed at least one term with our school, possess the ability to invert and safely support themselves off the ground.

 

Silks - Students must demonstrate the capability to climb the silks using one of the basic climbs, invert while in the air, and execute a foot lock while suspended.

 

Hoop - Students must be able to enter the hoop with ease, confidently move around the hoop, sit on the top bar, and demonstrate knowledge of beats and basic inversions, including open and closed flags, under bar split, stag, and tofu.

 

Hammock - Students should be able to get into the hammock from approximately hip height, understand double catchers, perform a slow release fallen angel, and be familiar with rig hangs, hip hangs, and thigh hitches.

Level 1
Classes

To enroll in L1 classes, it's mandatory to have completed the entire Intro syllabus within our school. Furthermore, only those students from the 2023 batch who took the Intro class at the same time as last year and satisfy the aforementioned conditions are eligible.

Level 2 
Classes 

To enrol in L2 class, you will have completed the L1 syllabus within our school. Furthermore, only those students from the 2023 groups at the same time as last year and satisfy the aforementioned conditions are eligible.

If you can comfortably do a tap tap, disengage, s-wrap and Clock wraps and are not from this school originally, you can enrol in our L2 classes or contact admin to discuss options

Comp Classes:

 

These are for anyone wanting to compete or prepare to compete in 2024

Age Requirements 

Littles / Circus - 3 - 5 years of age ( must me able to follow simple instructions )

 

Smalls - 5 - 9 years of age

 

Tweens - 9 - 12 years of age

 

Teens - 12 - 16 years of age

 

Adults 16 +

 

** We have a couple classes that are age specific and this is stated on the timetable
